Here's something to consider when selecting face frame hinges...
These hinges are not for use on Eurostyle Cabinets, they are for use on your face frame cabinets only. They do not attach directly to the cabinet side, instead they attach on the face frame.
Overlay
Applications
Use an overlay hinge if the door overlays the face frame completely, with a rabbet. It can be predetermined or variable. If it is variable, you'll be able to mount it anywhere on the widthe of the face frame and determine how much of the frame will be visible.
Inset Applications
Use an inset hinge if the door is completely flush with the face frame. |

Self-closing hinges are an ideal for cabinets. The built-in spring pulls the door closed and holds it in a closed position, eliminating the need for catches.
Soft-closing hinges have an adjustable action that, when your door is pushed closed, automatically takes over and brings your door to a whisper-soft close.
Free-swing hinges are most often used in furniture applications, rather than cabinet applications. |

the chart to determine how many hinges you'll need for the height and weight
of your door.
A door
that is 43'' high and weighs 14 lbs. requires three hinges. If your door
is only 24'' high but weighs 14 lbs., go with three hinges for maximum
support and stability.
Use
on 5/8'' - 3/4'' doors unless otherwise noted. |

Just installed my 170 degree hinges and the Blum Bi-fold hinges on my Lazy Susan doors. These hinges were easy to install and to adjust. The doors worked perfectly with just a few simple adjustments. GREAT HINGES!!!

I needed these 170 Degree face frame hinges for replacements for broken ones on my Lazy Susan doors.
They worked perfect and seem to better better quality than the origional one that broke.

I bought these at the Cambridge MA store. They were for a 24in kitchen cabinet right over the dishwasher. The original 100 deg hinges made it impossible to reach the cabinet from the sink side of the dishwasher poor planning on the part of the kitchen designer. These hinges were a drop in and allow the door to swing totally out of the way so that we can empty the dishwasher and put dishes right into the cabinet. These were so easy to install. My only complaint is that they came packed in sets of two and I needed 3 hinges so I had to buy an extra.

Hinge is excellent but to be used in my cabinet to replace a 110 deg. hinge was possible since the protusion of the hinge inside of the cabinet interfered with the Lazy Susan shelving. I did not want to make more holes in the door.

I almost gave up trying to replace two sets of hinges in my kitchen. Then, I found the Rockler website. I was able to use the photo's to perfectly match the broken hinges. I got ready for an entire day project, I was finished in 15-20 minutes! Both sets of doors work perfectly, and I agree with Craig that the quality seems much better than the originals. I have completed two other projects by using the Rockler website. It is on top of my Favorites list now!!

These hinges are an absolute dream to work with. They are so forgiving with adjustment up/down, sideways and in/out. Using these hinges on a pie-corner door was a concern, but no problem, a slight adjustment and the doors work great.
