Accurate to .002". Great for marking stock for joints or checking stock for squareness. Both squares are notched where the beam and rule meet for drawing accurate layout lines. 1) Submitted by Bill Thomas, from Kennewick, WA on 11/16/2009 Customer Rating: The 4" square is very handy and, apparently, accurate. I keep it at hand in the pocket of my shop apron. The edges and corners are rather sharp and so caution is advised when retrieving it. The addition of engraved scales on the other side of the ruler would be most welcome. Good product that could be excellent with slightly dulled corners and extra etching.
