Made of durable ABS plastic
The larger OD on the swivel fittings is 2-1/2". This fits inside 2-1/2" standard or Dust Right hoses and then is clamped in place. NOTE: Shop Vac hose does not fit inside this end.
The smaller OD on the swivel fittings is 2-1/4". This is a standard 'Shop Vac' fitting so this OD fits inside the open port in standard Shop Vacs.

I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago and have used it steadily since then on my shop vac. I've got a Dust Deputy and the swivel fitting was from the Dust Deputy lid to my hose. I had a consistent air leak that I couldn't fix. It was in the mechanism that allows it to spin. This air leak affected the performance of my DD and my shop vac. It's a great idea, and in fact it worked great (minimal loss of suction) IF I bypassed my Dust Ddeputy.

This doesn't fit any of my 2 1/2 in fittings except for one end. If this is disassembled and reversed it come much closer (but still unusable) to my fitting dimensions for the other end. This swivel is of no use to me .

Editor's note: Please note that to attach this fitting one does not use any existing shop vac fittings. The small end of this fitting in inserted into shop vac inlet. A 2-1/2" dust collection hose is then slipped over the large swivel end of the fitting and secured with a bridged hose clamp.

I built a thin baffle cylcone for my shop vac and this swivel was needed to connect the clear 2-1/2" hose to the connection on the baffle, since the swivel on the shop vac connects to the outfeed on the baffle.
The swivel works perfect and eliminates hose kinks.

I purchased three of these to make cleanup easier as it is advertised. First of all they do not fit on my shop vac machines. They also appear to lack in quality although the idea is a good. I intend to return them as it appears that I can only use them between two flex hoses and not at the exit port of my vacs.
