Very useful stop. I have 7 on a very long fence. They really helped speed up production. As the other reviewers have stated, they need a nylon washer to stop the allen bolt loosening as you move the stop up and down. If you try to tighten the bolt, the stop won't move. I put some Loctite on the first threads on the bolts and this really helped. There is still a slight left to right play in the stop. OK for what I am doing, but if you need super accuracy, it might not be. I am very happy with it though.

I had built my own miter fence and needed a better stop than what I had built. My track was on the business side of the fence which gave more angle than I wanted and was too far from the table. Drilled a couple holes in this stop and a 3/4" piece of scrap poplar sized to fit, put them together and got a great stop.

This is a great option to have for your router table. I had purchased 2 of them so I can use 1 on each side on my fence. I did make the mistake in purchasing the wrong size. I was not aware that they offered 2 sizes. I am hoping that my local store has the 3" in stock so I can exchange the 2 1/4" for the 3"

This product is well constructed and functional. I purchased the wrong version. I should have bought the 3" version rather than the 2 1/4" one. Check it out before you repeat my mistake. With the correctly sized stop, I'm sure you'll be satisfied.

I intended to use this flip stop on my router table fence, but to my dismay it doesn't work for a couple of reasons. It would be great if this stop were packaged with a bushing, bolt and knob to also accommodate 1/4 x 20 track slots as well that come on many other fences. The design would also be better if there was a way to have the flip arm adjustable from front to back. That would allow greater flexibility for fences having tracks closer to the front edge.

I had to disassemble this flip stop to insert a nylon washer to make the arm move up and down smoothly as the pieces were metal to metal. It workeed well after doing this, but when you get it tightened down to the track there is still a little movement from side to side since the piece that fits into the track isn't milled closely enough which can introduce some error in use.

Two issues with this stop: first, the protrusion on the bottom of the head {that locks into the t-track} isn't wide enough or deep enough to really lock the stop down when the knob is tight-there's still about 1/8" wiggle room, even when cranked down as hard as you can. Second, the hex nut, if tightened to take out the play, won't flip. I might try what another review suggested, putting a nylon washer to enable it to move without any slop. Not worth your money, though.
