Deluxe 4-in-1 Screwdriver

Stylish, durable and precise, this deluxe screwdriver is a cut above. The contoured, laminated hardwood handle exhibits comfort and control and is flanked by brass accents. A brass inlay plate on the handle can be engraved for identification or as a personalized gift. Changing bits is quick and easy with the 1/4'' reversible shaft that accepts the included reversible #1/#2 square and slotted/#2 Phillips bits. Shaft also serves as a 1/4'' nut driver.

3) Submitted by Lawrence, from Bethesda, MD on 3/20/2011 Customer Rating: This is a lovely tool and I would rate it "excellent" had it come with bits I can use on a daily basis, it is the sort of thing one would find in grandfather's tool chest. I have a cheap plastic one that is almost identical in that it has the reversible shaft and the reversible bits, and I thought that I could substitute the bits, which are double philips and double slotted, with this one from Rockler which has one bit consisting of a philips and slotted combined, and the other consisting of a #1 and #2 square end - which is so useless in a tool of this type as to be ridiculous. Yet to my dismay I find that the bits I have are too large for this lovely screwdriver. Carrying around a tool that has a #1 and #2 square which are used on the rarest of occasions, and then typically in bulk with a power screwdriver, just makes no sense. I use philips and slotted all the time, so this screwdriver has now lost its planned place in my everyday tool box.

It has a good weight to it, feels good in your hand and the style gives it that old world look. For a Rockler Exclusive and a person that values a quality tool, I give the Deluxe 4-in-1 screwdriver an A+ !!!!
