Solematte Adhesive Floor Mat

Don't let your shop mess spread to your home and car. Stop it in its tracks with Solematte adhesive floor mats. Simply stick the stack of 24" x 36" sheets to the floor near the exit of your workspace and remove the protective film to expose the adhesive. Step on the mat a couple of times each time you leave your shop to remove a majority of sawdust and other build-up from your footwear. When dirt stops sticking simply tear off and recycle the old sheet to expose a new one. Stack of 30 sheets.

Works very nicely when I am working on a project that requires me to go in and out of my shop a lot. It could be a costly item if I had to change the top layer every day, fortunately I don't have to.

We have all ceramic tile throughout the house; a dog, a cat, a son that tracks dirt everywhere he goes, a daughter-in-law, and a grandbaby (oooops, almost forgot the wife). We put one set at our back door (that catches the dirt off the dogs paws) and one set at the front door (that everyone else tracks over). It's amazing how much dirt these jewels pickup that would be tracked throughtout the house. WE LOVE THEM. Our only wish is that they came in a more neutral color than blue. Other than that, we'll be keeping these goodies around for a while.

4) Submitted by R Williams, from Longview, WA on 4/22/2010 Customer Rating: For the money, it is satisfactory. It does a nice job of removing most of the sawdust from the sole of my shoe. My only disappointment is that the pad needs some method to hold it to the floor i.e. double stick tape. Otherwise, the pad adheres to the shoe sole sometimes.

A little stomping doesn't hurt in a heavy dust situation, but otherwise, the solematte is definitely living up to its billing. The reduction in sawdust being tracked into the house is fantastic, and keeping me out of the doghouse!

So before I took it out of the box, I cut it in half with a circular saw. Now that the product is half-sized, it's perfect for the floor by the garage door. My wife is pleased with the reduced sawdust in the house too...

7) Submitted by Lloyd Lipska, from Gothenburg, NE on 1/26/2010 Customer Rating: The only issue I have with the product after using about 2 weeks is that if there is a lot of sawdust adhering to the soles of your shoes, it will not pick it all up. If there is just normal dust, and it can be substantial it picks it up just fine. I can really see how much dust I was tracking onto the carpet outside my basement shop.
