Hold your chisels and plane irons in place while sharpening with the Tormek Square Edge Jig (SE-76)! Mounts on Tormek’s universal support to hold tools in place, and the jig automatically lines up chisels and plane irons for correct grinding angle. Lower clamp has a ridge to fit shorter tools. Two safety stops prevent tools from slipping off the stone when grinding.

I have used the Tormek for years now and it is a wonderful necessary item in any ones shop. I would have given the Square Edge Jig an Excellent Rating but for one bad problem I have had since day one. It is almost no good when trying to sharpen short or should I say older chisels .The guide rings do not allow for the correct bevel because they rub on the wet stone, if there was a way to stop this from happening I haven't found it yet. Of course it could very well be the operator.

Works as advertised; gave new life to my old planer blades. Set-up and use is easy as can be. Regarding Patrick's review: the entire tool holder can be lowered to give you the necessary angle for shorter blades.
