Great product! Well built. Screw holes line up perfectly for easy assembly. I am using this with a Incra Wonderfence and a 3HP cyclone DC. There are absolutely no observable uncollected dust or chips. Thanks!

Finally...a dust collection solution for my router table! I have this mounted under the wing on my table saw I use for my router table and it works great. Assembly was easy, and I made a mounting bracket sealed with insulation strips. Absolutely no dust or wood chips miss the dust collector! Great product!

Every once in a while you run across a product of exceptional quality. The Dust Bucket is one of those items. Heavy weight steel construction where every screw hole lines up and assembles exactly as advertised. Put the dust collection on the left, right or back, it doesn’t matter, everything lines up perfectly. Don’t let some of the other complaints about the screws negatively influence you, the screws are perfect. Not being machine screws they don’t have sharp points, so there is no way to scratch or rack your hand while adjusting or installing your router. The phillips screw heads were no problem, I just used an electric screwdriver and it went together in 20 minutes or so. Another 10 to 15 minutes to turn the router table over, center the box left to right, and find 4 short, large head screws to mount the bucket to the table no screws are supplied, drill pilot holes and screw to the table. Very well thought out and manufactured to close tolerances.
As far as functionality - it works as advertised. What more can one say other than it does an amazing job removing the saw dust.

This is an excellent product, it works just like it's supposed to. Assembly was very straight forward and simple with one exception. The phillips head screws provided are perfectly adequate for any place that two pieces go together. But where three pieces go together they wouldn't cut it so I used my own hex-head screws in those places, mostly along the bottom. I don't know how much it would cost to replace the provided screws with hex-head screws, but I think it would be worth it. Irregardless of the screws, I am very satisfied with the Dust Bucket and how well it works with the Dust Right system.
I am also very pleased that the local Rockler store honored an on-line advertised deal that the store didn't have. It's no wonder Rockler is my favorite toy store.

After reading the reviews, I recently purchased the "Dust Bucket Dust Collection for Router Table" I was pleasantly surprised by the heavy duty construction of the unit. I followed the assembly instructions that were provided and the unit went together without a hitch. By using an awl to allign the bottom screw holes, as the instructions advised, every hole lined up perfectly. Being able to configure the suction and vent attachments where you need them was great because the space I had to work with under my router table is limited. I did some routing today with a small dust collector attached to the collection box and my larger dust collector attached to the port on my Rockler fence. Ater routing about fourty feet of board I checked the box and it was empty, with a pinch of sawdust in the corners. I would highly recommend this product. I am VERY inpressed.

Although I felt when ordering this dust bucket, it was over-priced, after receiving it, I changed my mind. The fit of the pieces and small holes for the screws ALL lined up perfectly AND it was manufactured from heavy gauge steel - far heavier than I assumed it would be. Construction, assembly, design and function all rate a 5. Now for the downside - NONE!!! If I could only capture dust like that with my Glidesaw

I purchased this product for my Woodpecker router table & fence after making a complete mess of my shop he first time I used it. I had to mount the unit with the mounting ears to the inside and I also had to remove one of the under table braces and elongate the mounting holes. What a dream it was to use after that. A bit of dust on the top of the table but nothing below. I can't be too enthusiastic when recommending this product. I love it.

I really wanted to give this a 5, however the only reason I did not was that this does not fit a Kreg router table, you have to make a lot of modifications, you have to add wood block spacers and use air conditioner foam to seal it. The reason is that Kreg below the table levelers are in the way and you have to drill holes so you can still use them.
I almost sent it back, however I really was feed up with all the mess and I wanted to make this work, I am very glad I did, the mess it basically gone, it will save so much clean up it was worth the modifications

This is an exceptional product and delivers on it promise. In just one project, I have saved many hours of manual sweeping. A must have for anyone with a router table.

To calibrate the reader, I'll describe my setup. I have an older Rocker 28233 router table sitting on a pine Rockler stand, 20878. I use a Jessem/Rockler "Master-Lift" on my P-C 7518 router. Lately I've been using a Rockler dust vacuum, 25344 on the Jessem router fence with no attention to dust collection below the table. I did try the Rockler "down under" dust port but found it to be a bother in most cases for the work that I do.
I've recently produced a number of raised panel doors in red oak, which produces a lot of waste. Using only a top mounted vacuum connection on the router table was inadequate in collecting all of the debris. I had a huge mess to clean up.
I saw the dust bucket at my local Rocker store recently and thought it would be perfect for my needs, so I ordered it along with the recommended accesories.
The packages arrived today. It took me about two hours to get the stuff installed and working. Here are my comments on the dust bucket before I forget them.
The dust bucket is well built of rather heavy gauge steel. The precision of the bent metal and holes is impressive. I was surprised at the package weight. This is not tin foil. It's good, heavy-duty stuff. Some assembly is required of course. The enclosed instructions were adequate. I was delighted to see that all of the holes matched up for about 30 sheet metal screws. Since I use a Rockler router table, I expected it to fit perfectly underneath the table, which it did. As a retired engineer, I enjoy good engineering. Good job!
I've used the new setup just a few times and have been delighted at the efficient dust collection. This thing simply works as advertised.
Negatives: Not many. I would prefer self-tapping screws with hex heads rather than the Phillips screws, which are not self-tapping in design. I had to fuss a bit to get the supplied screws to bite into the metal when I was joining three pieces together. Somebody at Rocker counted the screws. Thanks. I hate it when I don't have enough parts to build something.
Rockler mentions a magnetic door latch for the door. I didn't get one! Rockler! I want my magnetic latch! Nothing else to bitch about.
The dust bucket door gives me full access to my router on/off and speed controls. The dust collection port is made of cast metal. Good job! It's not a piece of plastic that will fail soon.
This is a very good, well-designed product I recommend to all woodworkers with router tables. I just wish it had appeared earlier.
Final comment. I have a number of Rocker engineered woodworking products. They are well engineered and do exactly what they promise to do in my experience. What else can I say? Buy one! You'll be glad you did.
Enjoy woodworking.

First off, I have to say that I am very happy with this purchase. One of my biggest concerns with most dust collection systems in general is that they only focus on collecting the dust. In a router table system, easy access to your router is also important. The access door on the front of the dust collection box is great and the adjustable air intake is a nice added bonus. Overall, this product works wonderfully and I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone.

Like Marty, from Memphis, I had to make a flange to accommodate my Kreg Router Table System, but have been greatly pleased by how well the dust bucket works in conjunction with the dual port - almost nothing escapes it.

I had to make a wooden flange out of 1 X 2's in order to accommodate my Kreg Table Top. Other than that minor inconvenience, The Dust Bucket works extremely well in conjunction with The Dust Right Dual Port. I highly recommend it.

I was just getting ready to build my own dust "bucket" when I saw the Rockler part. I was very happy to see all the parts are metal. It was extremely easy to assemble and came with very good documentation. It is a perfect fit for my Rockler router table and router lift and it would work equally well on other tables. A short delay in shipping because, I'm sure, there are probably a lot of orders are being placed. Rockler provided fantastic customer service advising of the delay.

I attached the Rockler DC control box to a Rousseau router table w/PC Router and Woodpecker router insert/lift. It collects dust/chips "very well" provided you have a larger dust collector with minimum 4" hoses. Luckily I have a larger dust unit w/6" DC pipes and 4" flex hoses for my equipment. It works only so-so with ONE portable dust control unit (ie. festool or fein DC unit). If you have two portable DC units it may work very good....one portable DC unit for the fence and one for the Rockler under table Dust box.

I bought this unit after I got fed up with all the dust and chips flying out of a under-table dust bag...despite my 4" DC hoses.

I'm very pleased with this Rockler Unit... as it is full of great features: cord exit hole, suction control vent, accessible front door, good directions, quick assembly, etc.

So far I've built 3 larger kitchen cabinets, 12 doors and 8 drawers with "very good" dust collection.

PS... despite my larger DC unit, some of the dust and chips still collect in the corners of the DC box....less than a fist full....no big deal... I periodically open the front door of the Rockler unit when the DC unit is on and stir up this dust and chips. It immediately flies into the DC hose.

Good luck !

Heavy duty indeed, as noted by another reviewer, and it went together easy. Since my router table is already put together, I didn't follow the instructions for flipping the table over to install the dust bucket. I just lowered the brackets for my shelf to enable me to slip the bucket around my router. Then I raised the shelf back up to support the dust bucket while I drilled holes and installed the four screws into the underside of the table. One of the four Phillips style screws stripped, so hex heads or some other head design would be much better. I'm using an Incra table with a Triton router. I have a 1.5 hp Delta dust collector with 4" hose. Even without the fence hose attachment, I was astounded at how much the dust bucket reduced the mess of shavings (easily 95%). I wish I had bought this 3 years ago when I got my router. The dual port and 2.5" fence hose just arrived last night and I'm certain that with the right fence, my chips and shavings cleanup days are over! Oh, as far as the magnet latch it is nothing more than a small round rare earth magnet centered inside on a small hole in the bucket. Even though it is not glued in place it holds the door shut very well.

I purchased a cast iron table from Rockler and the Dust bucket. The clerk said there would be no way to fasten it to the bottom because it is cast iron. I took two 2"X1" X 10" maple sticks and glued them with JB Weld epoxy JB Weld will glue wood to metal to the underside of the table in line with where the box holes were. The next day I screwed the box in place and the rest is history.
Yesterday, I had a work party at my shop. The router table was in use continually without any dust on the table top I used their coupling system and fence or the box to speak of.

This looks like a fine product. I bought it in hopes of being able to use it with my new Incra Router Table and an Incra by Woodpeckers Sidewinder Router Lift. Unfortunately they are not compatible. The Lift has an arm for guiding the winding cable that is right in the way.
I entertained the idea of modifying the arm so it would work, but with the Incra Table it is easier to insert 1/2 ply and build my own dust collection box.

Good concept, a dust collection system that is really quick-connecting and stays put after you do this. I was so frustrated with older ABS fittings with taper that just didn't go together well.
All in all, good product. I chose it because I wanted to use the RT port with the 4x2x4 fitting on a home-made router table. I do not intend to buy any more fittings and just wanted it to fit other standard fittings in my shop.

When installed with a lift kit for the router this unit does not allow room to change router bits. I now have to lift the router out of the table to change bits. Secondly with the cabinet in place the dust bucket will not fit. I had to remove the cabinet to install the unit. This unit works well in collecting dust but there are trade offs.

I have a Jessum router lift. The bucket would not fit over my Makita router and the Mast-r-lift no matter how I tried. Had to return it along with the dual port and the hose.
