Freud engineers have discovered the ultimate combination of fused tooth grind geometry, blade body rigidity, precise tensioning, a special carbide blend and superior carbide brazing, non-stick Perma-SHIELD® coating and high performance anti-vibration – all working together in concert to provide the ultimate cut. One blade does it all. Whether you’re ripping or crosscutting, a Premier Fusion blade will tackle any project. Thin kerf blades remove less material than standard carbide blades, thus requiring less horsepower to produce equally good results.
The Perma-SHIELD® coating covers the blade plate and cutting edge in a protective layer, reducing heat build-up. Perma-SHIELD® blades resist binding in large volume cutting, reducing subsequent blade warp. The coating lubricates the blade, allowing it to spin freely, and eliminates pitch and debris build-up on the blade.
Laser-cut anti-vibration slots drastically reduce vibration and sideways movement in the cut - extending blade life, and giving a crisp, swirl-free flawless finish
The combination of unique design and special polymer filler in the anti-vibration slots reduces vibration above and beyond any other blade, resulting in superior performance
Unique side grind polishes the material to produce a superior finish
No stabilizers needed
Perma-SHIELD® Non-Stick Coating is a state-of-the-art coating formulation that is superior to any today, and will withstand the toughest woodworking applications. Like Silver I.C.E.™, Perma-SHIELD® eliminates pitch and debris build-up reducing down time for cleaning
Features Ti-Co™ Hi-Density Carbide General Purpose Blend for maximum performance
Thin kerf allows for easier feeding and reduced waste

Customer Rating:
This blade is absolutely outstanding. I have used a number of blades but nothing even comes close to the incredible perfection of the cut this provides. Rips and crosses are absolutely polished. I made up a "quick" box and a table saw jig one afternoon to test the new blade. I was astonished that I did not have to sand at all - it was truly finished. The edges were PERFECT. I give this blade 6 out of 5 Stars and unconditionally recommend it to anyone considering an almost universal timber blade. I gave this review as I came to get another one, as a spare. I will not be using any of my others from now on and wanted the spare for/if/when it has to go to the shop for a sharpen.

Retired Navy, so when we say something is close to perfection we say "OUTSTANDING" I bought this blade today, replaces my top notch blade I thought with it and gave it the good old Navy test drive.... "OUTSTANDING ... OUTSTANDING. Cuts like a hot knife through butter. I pulled out a long scrap piece of Maple..."Oh yaa, this will slow it down." I thought to myself. Wrong, I have never been able to rip Maple without burning it. It not only didn't burn, I won't even have to sand it. What a blade, what a blade. My only complaint is that it's not made in the USA. If you buy this blade and find it not to your liking, send it to me...PLEASE. The guys at Rockler here in San Diego are the best...all said I would have a smile on my face after using it.... ! BIG SMILE. Thanks Freud and Rockler. Tomorrow, I'm going to make lots of very nice "Beaver Barf".

Used this blade on a project ripping red oak boards for raised panels, the cut was so smooth and straight I didn't have to joint the edges for glueup. This blade doesn't even make the motor on the saw slow down in a cut. I am glad I bought it.

Just completed a birch counter top using 1.5" sections ripped from 4/4 finished 2 sides lumber. The blade left absolutely no burn marks and the cuts were so accurate that very minimal finish joining was required.

I purchased this saw blade for my table saw a few months ago. It hung on the wall waiting for a project until I started working on some end grain cutting boards for Christmas presents. I wanted the glue-ups to be as clean as possible, on went the new blade. Two inches into the first piece of walnut and two teeth broke off the blade. I found where the teeth broke off and there was no sign of anything foreign in the wood. I called Rockler up and they immediately sent me a replacement blade. In the meantime, I continued to use the blade, which produced smooth, clean cuts. I chalk the broken teeth up as a fluke and I'm getting ready to buy another blade for my miter saw. Great product, but the real reason for this review is the customer service at Rockler.

It does leave a nice surface if it hasn't burned it that is. I always set my height to put the top of the surface in the middle of the gussets. Do that with this and you will have it right back in your lap. Really bogs down cutting 1" pine or cedar. I put my old 7" thin kerf back on and it cuts great, same application.

This is one good blade! I found this to completely re-define my table saw. It cuts like going through butter, and leaves minimal chip-out through plywood. Solid wood cuts are even better. You will still need a rip blade for flat bottom cuts, but for all else this is worth the price.
"What can I say? Easy...Rockler's one of the good guys:}< inclusive noun... the ladies I've talked too are as knowledgeable about their products as the guys! Keep up the great work." -
