I just got this and have tested it on various off cuts to see how strong it holds.

First, with about 90 lbs of air, it countersunk about and eighth of an inch in plywood. Much less in hardwood. But test it first on the same wood as the project or you'll be unhappy.

Second, it's a big tool - akin to a framing nailer. It's not small like a brad nailer. And it has some kick to it so be prepared.

Tool is made in Taiwan and somewhat OK on finish and fit. Not sure how it would hold up to rough use so go easy.

I love the idea of joining mitered corners without biscuits, splines, etc. Much easier to glue, clamp and shoot. I'll use this tool a lot I think and more as I learn it's capability.

Good purchase so far. Senco's model is twice the price.

So far, I'm very pleased with this tool. I've used it for 2 weeks now, and run about 500 1/2" corregated fasteners through it without a problem. I use it to fasten the 45 degree corner joints on artist's stretcher frames made from 3/4" thick fir or oak. Determining the correct pressure for setting the fastener depth in the respective wood types takes a bit of time, but once dialed in is easily reproducible.

The directions to set up and load is very lacking! on a scale of 1 to 10 is a 2 and I am being generous. Just hope it works better then the directions they give .

Liked product a lot. Plan on using it for a screen door and quick cabinet faces and doors for the shop. I was really surprised at the strength of a test joint in 2 scrap 2x4s. A lot harder to break the butt joint than I thought it would be (3 fasteners in each side). Fastener did crush surrounding wood into the fastener joint of soft fir, but think that planed (machined) fir or harder wood would fasten perfectly. Fasteners penetrated easily.
