1) Submitted by Graham Stewart, from Kingston on 3/8/2012 Customer Rating: The combination of very clear and well explained book and DVD make an excellent tutorial. For a novice like me, actually seeing the work taking place iv very helpful. The book also includes a fair bit about the qualities of particular finishes for furniture - but nothing else. This book and DVD will not tell you anything about spray painting boats of cars although the technique is probably the same. All in all, this is a great book to get if you are just venturing in to spray painting and don't want the instructor to make any assumptions about what you know.

Jeff Jewitt is a great instructor and an even better finisher. I especially enjoyed the chapters covering spraying as that's what I'm currently working on. Too bad we can't all live near Jeff in order to be able to take his classes. Good DVD.
