This specially designed holder mounts to most flatbed lathes to keep up to 12 turning tools and other turning supplies at the ready. 12" diameter tray features six slots for standard size tools and six for miniature tools and spins to make tool selection convenient. It is easy to attach and is very handy. I find myself using the tool slots as well as the flat surface to hold tools, sandpaper, etc. Having things in reach really shortens the time to do the various steps involved in lathe project. I consider the stand to be an excellent value and would highly recommend it to other lathe users.

Minor problem considering the positive attributes to this tool holder. No problems with tools or storage tray capabilities. Everything within reach and not falling on the floor from laying tools down. Excellent and would recommend to everyone.

This was easily fixed with a longer bolt, and a piece of scrap metal I had around. Even gave me a chance to use my lathe to turn a knob. A slight annoyance, but a handy tray.

5) Submitted by Roger Anderson, from Bemidji, MN on 12/28/2010 Customer Rating: First thing the product came broke, I figured I might as well super glue it because it would cost more to send it back then to get it replaced. As I went to mount it, the anchor was to small for my lath bed and I had to do some altercations. Once that was done I went to put my tools in the holder, well, I can only use the large holes not the small holes. Otherwise great concept.

6) Submitted by Fran, from Russo, CA on 2/3/2011 Customer Rating: When I 1st saw this I thought it would be great but then it came and when on my JET midi lath it took up room for all but the smallest pieces and when I wanted to do a bowl and take of the end piece there just wasn't room to work. In other words it was just in the way but a really nice idea.

7) Submitted by Jim Kingsley, from Mt.Prospect, IL on 2/15/2011 Customer Rating: Rate an "A" for concept, but a "D-" for versatility. A few simple changes would make it more usable. First make the outer rim solid to reduce accidental fallout of tools, I used duct tape temporarily. Change some of mini holes to mid sized, to accommodate mid sized tools Extend the length of the lathe bed mtg. brkt. It is easier to modify the brkt. to shorter length rather than add a brkt. to extend, as I did. Add length to the knob shaft so that lathe bed brkt. could be turned sideways. Lastly more attention to detail, extension bar had sharp burrs that needed to be filed down before use. Overall, needs a good rework to make more versatile.
