Mora Turning Stock

This Guatemalan variety of Mora wood is heavy, dense and ranges from pale brown to pale yellow in color. The sapwood from which these bowl blanks are taken yields a very smooth surface when turned and readily accepts wood treatment products. Blanks measure approximately 5" x 5" x 3".

Expecting to be getting a block of wood with some character to it, I would have got same results out of plain walnut. Although the wood was easy to work with. Not to happy.
