This material combines an acoustical for fabric for great sound quality and a stiffener (1/16'' thick plastic honeycomb type material) for simple installations. These customized panels are perfect for concealing any size of speaker in entertainment centers. The acoustical fabric retains excellent sound quality. We constructed built-in units in the family room of one of our custom homes, and because of the height of the cabinet doors, we were looking for an alternative to regular speaker cloth. The speaker baffle is perfect for our application. It is a hearty material that installs easily and stands up well over the height of the cabinet door, and looks great. We intend to use this material in all similar applications.

I built a cabinet for a new 52" LCD TV that was not even released at the time I built the unit. I have 2 sub-woofers in the bottom of the cabinet and I needed something to put into the door channels to allow for the bass to be heard. The doors of the entertainment center were glass cut doors. I looked everywhere, and finally found this material. I made shims for the inside channel, and have not even glued it, the material worked perfectly. The material was kind of expensive, but I am glad that I found it. [] I do have enough material for additional use in case my cat decides to use one of the doors as a scratching post. I would highly recommend this product for a hassle free installation, and to allow sound to be heard through any speaker opening.
