I have made several Lazy Susans using the Rockler hardware, and plan to sell them (along with other handcrafted items) in Craft Fairs in the Texas Valley beginning in February 2010. Glued to my Lazy Susan boards are disks of cedar cut from trees on my property which are sanded and coated with multiple coats of polyurethane. The Rockler hardware works perfectly, and at the reasonable price, should allow me to make a decent profit from my very enjoyable hobby.

We were commissioned to design and build a "creative" business card holder for a small business. We carved the logo figurine and placed it on a flared pentagonal base to display the five employee cards. The small lazy susuan hardware was fantastic for making the artwork functional. Thanks for bringing our project together!! It's a big hit!!

Ater the wife said she wished she had something for all her necklaces, I made this "necklace only" jewelry box with the lazy susan for my wife. Purchased the 3" size after seeing load ratings. This is the use for the first one. Have ideas for other uses. At the price, i figured buy 4 and keep for future brainstorms.
Note: Easy to install if you read the spec sheet. I didn't and had a rough time. Sometimes ya gotta learn the hard way!!!

I purchased the 12" Low Profile Lazy Susan Bearing to make a large lazy Susan for a handicapped person. The size of the lazy Susan was 30" X 40" using 1" Plywood. Needed to lie down on the lazy Susan and use as a merry-go-round. I was worried that the bearing would not hold up. I tested the bearing myself, 220 lbs, and it worked just fine. Guess the 1000 lb weight limit is correct. Now I have orders for three more just like it. You have one happy customer in the small handicapped boy. THANKS

This product seems to be strong, but if you are looking for to build a lazy susan that doesn't make noise, this isn't what you want.
Would I buy it again> Only if I was to use it for something else. The bearing noise is just too much for everyday use. I gave it 3 stars because I think it's a 4 star for strength and a 2 star for noise.
