In many woodworking shops, one saw must serve multiple purposes. It must rip a piece of 4/4 oak and also crosscut a sheet of 3/4" plywood. The groups of five teeth include one flat tooth for ripping, followed by four alternate top bevel teeth for crosscutting and a large gullet for effective chip clearance. This blade also features laser cut anti-vibration slots, practically eliminating the vibration that resonates in standard blades. With this ultimate combination blade, there is no need for stabilizers.

The Perma-SHIELD® coating covers the blade plate and cutting edge in a protective layer, reducing heat build-up. Perma-SHIELD® blades resist binding in large volume cutting, reducing subsequent blade warp. The coating lubricates the blade, allowing it to spin freely, and eliminates pitch and debris build-up on the blade.

Also available with the economical Silver I.C.E™ coating.

I bought this blade and the almost identical Dewalt DW7150PT blade. The Freud left a much flatter profile than the Dewalt when I cut slots, which was my main reason for buying the blade. The Dewalt is half the price, and cuts just as easily, but if you care about the ATB/R grind, the Freud is what you want.

I have been using Freud blades for some time. May be better but not known by me. Took me years to find a good blade. Satisified so I do not want to try anything else. Thye hold there sharpness for a long time.

My very first Freud and I cannot believe the difference in the results. I never dreamed I could get as clean a cut on my old Unisaw. I'm sold and will be using more for future projects.

I bought this blade several years ago and it has never disappointed me. I'm very particular and this blade steps up to the plate every time regardless of whether I'm ripping or crosscutting. It leaves my wood ridge and splinter free every time. I had the misfortune of dropping my blade on a concrete floor. Needless to say, I was sick about it. 2 teeth were broken completely off and a 3rd tooth broken in half. I put the blade back on my saw ran a few cuts with it and to my surprise, judging by the smoothness of the cuts, there was no indication that there were 2 teeth missing and a 3rd damaged. You will not be disappointed with this blade. As far as I'm concerned, for the money, this blade rules. Get yours today!!

Our school trains young men and women to become journeyman carpenters, affiliated with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. We ordered several of these blades for use in our cabinetmaking shop. Freud is a very dependable quality product for us.
