Used cutter on 1/2" MDF. Drill press wobbled until I started the carving due to arm balance, but no problems. Cut holes great and accurate. Note to user: Instructions say to flip work over after cutting half-way through. I didn't on first use. I was in a hurry. Wood burned and chisel binded. Next use, I flipped work piece and lined bit up perfect to hole. Gave me a very clean, accurate cut. Use sacrificial board under work piece. Take your time.

Very nice tool, well made, easy to use. Makes clean cuts in plywood. Have not tried in hard woods yet. Should not be a problem.

I am glad I opened the box when I got it. I was going to send it back because of the shank being 1/2". To my surprise it did fit my bench drill press and real happy with it. Also real good guality product.

Used the circle cutter with a drill press to make a wine bottle rack for a client. Cut 4" and 1.5" circles, cut boards in half and mounted in cabinet.

Great for cutting small (5" or less diameter) circles. I used it for a quilt block design on a quilt rack I made for my wife.

There were no instructions included. I evidently assumed these cutters were used to cut circular pieces for toys. I had to turn the cutting bit around to accomplish this because it beveled the circular piece. I found that it would burn the wood also. As mentioned, a set of instructions might have explained the speed setting on my drill press and the applications for this cutter.
Editor's note: Manufacturer's instructions are included, they are printed on the inside of the box.

I was introduced to these by my father who has been using these cutters for years now, and the circle, be it in wood or plexi-glass of any size, are accurate and clean. The adjustable size is always a plus for any project.
