Ideal for honing a variety of knives or the blades of woodworking tools to a micro fine razor-sharp cutting edge. The micro fine particles in this compound will not damage the tool or change the bevel with normal use.

I purchased this honing product to put the ultimate finish on my sharpening projects and the results were fantastic , the results were a mirror finish on the bevels and incredibly sharp edges.
I puchased three , six in. diameter pieces of leather from a leather shop,and punched a half inch hole in the center of each and glued them together,clamped them flat with a half inch arbor for drill mounting.
I use the lowest speed on my drill press and it only takes one to two light passes for incredible results using the compound.

This micro-fine honing compound is wonderful. I use it on my slow speed grinder's leather wheel. It will bring all your edge tools to a razor edge. Hint-
make sure before applying the compound to the wheel to first oil the leather wheel with a light oil, camellia or walnut oil works great.
