Bought this canvas roll for my new Japanese (expensive) chisels as opposed to a leather or denmin roll as learned from many reviews that I have read. Leather rolls have acid in them that may affect the chisels in time, and denmin is too fragil in my opinion. So I finally found canvas chisel roll at this site and am quite pleased with the quality of the materal ( heavy canvas ) and good stitching with leather edging all around the roll. Only problem I found for my seven chisel set was that the largest slot ( they are graduated down from large slots to smaller slots ) was a little small to fit the last chisel, by putting the handles in the slots rather than the blades. But nonetheless, very happy with the quality, price, and construction of the roll.....
