It is extremely light weight and I was concerned that the actual drills are not as solidly built as they used to be. However, after a couple of nice drops to concrete from roof level they haven't missed a beat. My only negative so far is the relatively short run time. Depending upon what you are driving, you may find yourself recharging in 30 minutes or less. Luckily with two batteries you never run out of power, but I guess I expected a bit more run time. I also have the same combo kit made by Makita. The Makita definitely has a better run time. Believe it or not the fit and finish doesn't appear to be a good as Dewalt. Don't get me wrong! I like them both but tend to reach for the Dewalt's now. It may have something to do with the nice shiny yellow and black.
