Space is at a premium in my shop, so I got three of these racks and mounted them side by side about 5' off the floor, mounted on every other stud for over 12 linear ft of wall storage. They're very strong and easy to install/configure.

I bought three sets because I wanted to support several stacks of long lumber with three support brackets each stack. They are very strong and easy to install. I wish Rockler would sell the vertical wall brackets separately to make this system more versitile because I now have six horizontal supports that I can't use.

This set fit perfectly above my 16' garage door. Using two sets allowed me to put this wasted space to good use.

Instead of using it as a lumber storeage rack, I mounted it to the garage wall and used it for storing 2 kayaks. It is very substantial and works well for my purpose.

I have rough 4/4 and 6/4 red oak in 8' to 12' stock to organize and sticker. This lumber storage rack system is easy to mount and adjustable. I purchased 4 ea to configure a rack combination to accommodate the number of board feet I have accumulated. This product is solid and did not sag a bit. I do recommend this.

These shelves worked great!!! They do not stick out from the wall to far and can still hold lots of lumber. Rockler is a Great Company!!! Thanks!!!

I installed 2 sets of the racks with no problems, screws are provided. Quality seems up to the task of supporting the advertised weight. For the price it is hard to go wrong with these racks.

I ordered three sets and installed two in conjunction with each other placing one under the other. I am very please with the amount of shelf space it creates and the price I feel is more than reasonable per set. Even if a higher price I would by these "Made in America" brackets. I would recommend making the tracks for the shelf brackets a tad longer maybe one-third or even a half. I'm using them more for general storage versus lumber and have them in my shed. I plan on buying several more sets so I can add storage shelves to my garage. So far I am more than happy with everything I have purchased from Rockler.

Easy to install. I was able to get many odd sized pieces of antique wood off the floor, onto shelves, and away from mouse nests. Since there was more wood than I thought there was, I ordered and installed a second one after my success with the first one. I'm tempted to order a third one for a future project I have in mind. It was also a made in the USA product.

Okay storage rack - I rate it as "fair". The shelf parts that stick out seem a little flimsy, with more side to side play than I like. I bought these only because they were running a sale and got them at a reduced price with free shipping. These are okay, but I placed them every 2 feet or so into a stud to be comfortable with using them for 8 to 10 foot lumber so as to not let the lumber sag between the braces. I bought 3 sets - 6 total braces. Not placing them 2 ft apart will let your lumber sag and bow between the braces - especially with thinner lumber.

Product is as described. Good quality and will work well for either lumber or shelves. At a recent visit to a home center I found very similar components for similar prices, but at the home center you could get longer rails to be able to space the racks further apart. You will find that the short 24" rails this product come with are too short for most applications. I would go with the home center variations in the future.

I have installed ten 10 sets of these shelves in my shop so far. They are very easy to install and do the job of storing materials horizontally very well. My only negative is that the 300 lbs. each shelf is stated to support is a joke. 100 lbs. per shelf for a total of 300 lbs. would be closer to accurate. I frequently purchase from Rockler and will continue to do so.

I installed 10 0f these rack sections in order to storage a substantial amount of Cherry & Walnut. I spaced them at 16" on center, spanning a total distance 13'4". I also installed 3/4" Baltic Birch backer plates behind the brackets to spread out the pressure on the dry wall. I am very pleased with this Rockler product. My only negative comment are the screws included with the rack are unsuitable. I replaced the with long screws with deeper threads. The assemby holds about 300-400 board feet of hardware quite nicely.

Not much room in my half of the garage for a shop, until I can get one built in the back, but all in all, these shelves hold a lot of weight and are very strudy. Can't be beat for the price.
