Wide lever handle and a click-lock sliding jaw make it simple to position and secure this clamp for use as a straight edge guide for circular saws and routers and as a fence for your table saw or drill press. 99" length makes it a snap to rip sheets of plywood and other large materials. A very low 9/16" body profile and flat top allow many applications without obstructing tools. Easy-to-read full color measuring scales enable outstanding accuracy anywhere along the clamp. Onboard T-Tracks fit select clamp accessories, sold separately. Rigid, lightweight construction makes this clamp a joy to operate. 2-17/32" wide. This is a "C" Contractor Series Clamp.

Please note: Due to size, this item cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box and a street address is required.

Looking for a straight edge for some Black Walnut boards that I had milled from a tree I cut. They were 8ft long.
I order the 99" straight edge and found out I needed the saw plate for the thing, so I ordered it a day later. Bottom line the straight edge was just what I wanted & the saw guide worked great to. Had to drill a couple of holes in the plate of the saw but it was worth it. Highly recommend this clamp.

I needed to rip a full length of plywood and do not have the space with my table saw. This worked beautifully even with 1/2'' plywood which had more risk of bending. Would highly recommend it.

After using the 54" Low Profile Straight edge clamp, I ordered the 99" clamp to use on large sheets of plywood and MDF board. We recently used the 99" clamp in building a bookcase from plywood and in ripping MDF board for a workbench top. It is a positive addition to my workshop, eliminating the need to muscle large sheets of material through the table saw. I highly recommend this clamp.

I bought this  99” All-In-One Low Profile Straight Edge Clamp about a year ago from Rockler Online. After buying it, I looked at it and wondered, “Now, why did I buy that and for what will I ever use it?" Well, we never know. My adult daughter, Deborah, who does woodworking with me in my shop, volunteered to make trim for the interior of our home, using our shaper. The trim was chair rails, crown molding, etc. With the help of a friend, I bought a significant quantity of kiln-dried poplar by the board foot, from an Indiana sawmill. It had to be milled in every way: Thickness planed, then, cut into eight foot long boards on the miter saw. One big problem remained. The boards had no straight edges. One edge on the length of each board had to be made straight by use of the table saw. How to do it? I attached the 99” All-In-One Low Profile Straight Edge Clamp to the straighter of the two edges, let it hang over the edge just a tad, squared it with the ends, and clamped it down firmly. We then ripped the board, guiding the Clamp along the fence, cutting a straight edge on the opposite side of the board. Worked like a charm on every board. I highly recommend the 99” All-in-One Low Profile Straight Edge Clamp…if you need one. And you very well may.

I have this tool because I don't have a panel saw yet!
It's very ridgid for it's length and locks down tight.
I use it on metal and wood. The built in T tracks enable me to attach my plasma cutter jig to it for straight clean cuts on sheet metal. the only flaw I could see is the lock lever, it's on the end and its plastic so we are carefull swinging it around the shop. Awesome Tool

I found this product worked wonderfully well. As with any long cut/rip use a sharp blade and do not force the cut in any direction and there will be no warp or deflection. The tool is substantial enough that it does not bend or warp under normal use. Great for cutting large plywood sheets without wrestling them through the table saw. I used the 99" straight edge clamp with a kreg Jig to build a book case. Love it.

I planned on using this to rip sheets of plywood for a Murphy bed but decided to use the table saw and hope for the best. Table saw worked great so I haven't used this clamp yet but I own the 24 and 54 inch clamps and they are great so I expect the same from this one when I do use it.

I can finally replace my long straight AL bars and C-clamps with a pair of bottom clamping straight edge ones. No more concern with getting the tool cord caught on a C-clamp. I have a pair of precut spacer to separate the two 8' straight edges with a proper distance between them for the saw and the router. They were well packed to avoid being bent during shipping but they do require careful handling in the shop. They are a fine addition to my growing collection of "toys."

The 99" completed my set. I find them useful for cutting, routing and as a nailing guide. I purchased the stop blocks, wide tracks, saw and router guides.
I needed to set my own screw holes to match my Dewalt router and Porter Cable saw boss.

A very good product that solved a headache. Running a long curved edge board on my jointer took several passes and even then didn't give me a perfect edge for my table saw. My only problem with this product is, if I push my circular saw a little too hard it can force up the clamp edge and slip under. The easy solution is not to get in a hurry and everything works great. I would buy this product again.

Like a couple other commentors stated, this unit can deflect. You need to be careful when riding a power tool against it. Other than that, it seems well made. But keep in mind: this is a beast of a long tool and you'll need to hang it somewhere it won't get banged up. A few brackets up on a long wall worked for me.

I haven't had the chance to use it yet, but it seems to be of very good quality. I too bought it on sale with free shipping. I had wanted one for a long time and when it went on sale with free shipping I jumped on it. Mine too came very well packed with no damage. I put 3 supports high on the wall to mount it so that it doesn't get damaged. I think I am going to be very happy that I made this purchase. I too bought it mostly for use on the table saw or circular saw for ripping a straight edge on rough lumber up to 8 feet long. I have a project that I am working on now that will require 75" long straight boards, so I will be using it very soon.

I saw a couple comments that were not so good. If your putting grooves in the rod your trying to put too much tension on the clamp. I have 3 all in one clamps now and use them a lot. Emerson tool is great if you ever break a part on the clamp, they will ship a replacement free of charge. This long clamp I use it to put a straight edge on an 8' board with the table saw and it works great. Well worth the price. Takes a lot of aggravation out of making a crooked board straight. I have waited a long time for a guide like this.

Got this clamp for myself for Christmas. What a nice gift! I have several of the shorter versions so when I saw the 99 incher I had to have one. It works just like the shorter models, Great. I ripped some half inch plywood for a shelving unit , Perfect. Be forwarned it took me about 10 minutes to get it out of the box. Very well packed. I highly recommend it.

I have been working with plywood in one way or another most of my life, and this is a product that is long overdue- for safety, accuracy, and convenience. I wish I had thought of it instead of all the clamps, straight edge, ending up sutting a curved edge with a circular saw. A-1 product and service!!

Have several of the other lengths of this product and this one was long overdue for me!! This decreases the setup time for cuts on longer pieces of stock. Makes it much safer and the accuracy is so much better. I'd like to mention that this product was delivered to my front door extremely fast too, guess it caught all the right planes and trucks.

While I agree with just about everything other reviews say, there is one very important thing, that left me a bit dissapointed.
This track is made of aluminum, and while it is reasonably streight, I noticed that this 99" track and my 50" track also have a significant amount of flex or deflection. That is especially significant, since you need to keep the tool pressed into the quide. I also noticed my 50" guide as well as this 99" one tends to bow as I engage or lock down the clamp. I have a deflection of about 1/16" before I even apply tool pressure to it. That made me often reach back to my 48" level and clamps. The guide needs to be beefier.

Like Kevin from Novi MI, I was concerned about receiving a damaged product because of the long thin packaging. WRONG! It came in beautiful shape and very well packaged. I also had no idea where I might be able to store it properly but built a tray on an overhead beam to store it very nicely within reach.
I found the statement about the width at 2-17/32" somewhat misleading. It is in the 3-1/2 to 4" range and quite rigid. The stated width refers to the clamp jaws. This is a VERY NICE straightedge, rated excellent by every reviewer so far. It is a good value. For some reason the exact model is not shown on the manufacturer's web site. Strange.

I have wanted one of these for a long time and saw the free shipping and sale price and decided to pull the trigger. I must say that I'm a bit disappointed. I have been using it to cut 17 4x8 sheets in half for finishing the inside of my shop. The rod that the gripper runs on developed grooves by the repetitive times I set it in the same place after only 17 sheets. this made it hard to move past the grooves and also diminished the gripping ability at that spot. I finally had to get some sandpaper and sand the grooved area to take care of the problem. Other than that the unit was a time saver and is well made. I am not about to re-box this thing and send it back because it was so well packed that I destroyed the box getting it out.

I had previously purchased the shorter clamp to cross-cut plywood and finally got the space to use and store the 99" clamp. I've used it mainly to cut sheet goods and the combination of the 2 clamps couldn't make that operation any easier.

I rec'd the 99" low-profile straight edge & I could not wait to get it out of the box! It is AWESOME! I put it to work the following day with my circular saw on some Oak plywood for cabinets - tremendous! Then used it for my router to make some stopped shelf grooves and it worked great there also. I am happy I bought it AND I got it on sale besides!!

I just received this and have used it sparingly but so far I like it. I cut a lot of 4 x 8 sheets and I was using a flimsy 2-piece aluminum straightedge for a saw guide and it was a pain. This is a dream tool compared to that. At sale price I would highly recommend it, at regular price I think it is too much money for value.

This product is a keeper. Used it the day I got it in the mail. It is strong, easy to use and indispensable for cutting those long panels. Used it with the router plate to cut the daddo’s for the shelves in less than half the time than building a jig. Don’t know how I ever got along without it.

My clamp arrived damaged from shipping. The packaging had multiple layers and reinforcements and looked great. Despite this, the clamp inside was bent to the point that one end was in the air when I tried to clamp it onto a sheet of plywood. I put a 5 gallon bucket on one end to hold it down so I could go to the other end to clamp it. The problem was that the plate of the circular saw would go under the bent clamp instead of gliding along the edge. This seems like a great idea, but I didn't feel the product was sturdy enough, and it will be a major pain to repackage this to return it. Despite this minor issue, Rockler is the best.

The clamp is well built. Unfortunately I changed the design in a product I was building, therefore didn't use the clamp. I did go ahead and play around with it on some scrap wood and it held tight. I look forward to using it in future projects. I kept the outside shipping box to protect the clamp from being banged up. It is rather long.

Sure makes sizing sheet goods eaiser. I find them I now have all four sizesvery usefull for cutting and routing. They are easy to set up and use. Add the base plates to your saw and router and they become even eaiser to set up and use. They are a nice addition to my woodworking tool collection. I give them Four Stars
only because I sometimes have trouble getting my 50" clamp to lock in place. If it wasn't for the locking problem with the 50" I would have given them 5 Stars.

Expected a sectional clamp one of the photos in the 99 inch clamp ad is of a shorter model. Basically this is unusable for anything but ripping the full length of a sheet of plywood it does work very well for this, but that's it. It's too long and unwieldy for shorter cuts way too long for a 4 foot crosscut.

I received this clamp for Christmas last year and have only used it a handful of time as I am a weekend woodworking hobbyist. At first the clamp worked fine and was much nicer than clamping a straight edge on material at both ends like I did before. The problem I am having with the unit is that the steel rod under the unit is burring pretty badly in the locations I clamp on most often, like at the 8’ mark. It is so bad now that I can barely slide the clamp past the burrs. I contacted the manufacturer and they were very nice about my concern and were even willing to replace the unit if I paid for shipping, but even they said it would happen again to the new unit. I am afraid with just a little more use of the straight edge, I will not be able to slide the clamp past the burrs at all making the tool unusable. I did read the reviews on the clamp prior to purchasing and no one talked about this issue. I wish they had. I wish I had bought a better product.

I am surprised so many guys do not noticed flexing of 99". Without a saw against the "straight edge", with no effort i can move it more than 1/8". I am going to return it since it's only a bit better than a supported lumber cutout, but $75 more expensive. The c50 - 50" moves a bit only, 1/64" if anything. This one I'll keep unless the rod problems occur.

This clamp is awesome! Easy to use even though 99" long. Makes those 2 piece clamps from the home stores look like babies. I reccomend this clamp to all woodworkers, especially for ripping cabinet grade plywood-there is no buckling while ripping a full sheet of plywood and no clamps to get in the way. Get this while it is on sale! And as usual Rockler shipping is the best... Fast

"Every time I have been in a Rockler store around the country I have left feeling that I received wonderful service and most always had exactly what I needed in stock at a fair to great price. the only complaint, if it can be called that, is that I have to drive over 45 minutes to reach the nearest Rockler store. My wife probably appreciates that distance, as I am certain that if one was as close as I wished it to be, we would have very little left in our checkbook!"
