Five-star knobs are the true Lincolns of jig knobs. With their rounded edges, comfortable finger holds and smooth finish, they're extremely easy on the hands and provide plenty of torque for use as jig knobs on fixtures, router tables, drill presses and more. These 5-Star Knobs are available with a through-hole and threaded insert for use with a T-bolt and T-slot or T-track, or with a 1'' threaded stud. Choose from three different threadings below.
Technical Details:
- Five-Star Knobs are made of black molded nylon with a smooth texture.
- Available with a through hole, which prevents stud from bottoming out at the top of the star knob.
- Also available with a 1'' long machine threaded stud.
- Longer boss (the rounded shaft beneath the star knob) leaves more clearance for knuckles.
- 2-3/16'' overall diameter.
- 1-19/32'' overall height (not including stud).

I built a frame to hold quilt fabric so a regular sewing machine could sew the fabric and batting together and they worked great.

I needed 1/4" knobs to replace the old ones on my old 1951 cannibalized delta homecraft bandsaw. These worked perfect to hold the bandsaw covers on. They are taken on and off all the time and the design of these makes it really easy and they look good as well!

I needed a knob for a jig I built and this works just fine. It is a convient size and very sturdy. I used it with a washer.

Nice on the hands and provide good grip for tightening jigs down securely. Depending on the jig or use, they may be a little too wide, but good planning can save the day.

Good product. The knobs are taller than they need to be, and the inset depth could be greater about 1/16'! some other products I have purchased have the nut inset ~1/8", which does a better job distributing the force if you can not use metal washers.

I bought the 3/8"-16 insert as a replacement lock knob for a Delta contractors saw, it fit and works perfectly. I have been impressed with the quality of all the items I have purchased from Rockler.

Easy on the hands, great power to hold jigs in place. This is my second order of them and I will probably get more as I build more jigs.

The knobs are a bit large for the thread size and I found the plastic quality low but for the price they do the job. Depending on the importance of the job they work fine

I picked up some extra knobs for making jigs. They work well for what they were purchased for. Be careful that you select the right knob for your application though as they are all on the same page.

Purchased for a dado blade holder project from Woodsmith Shop. I was satisfied with the quality and fully expect them to do the job perfectly.
