The drawing within the directions was good. However, the text explaining installation was terrible. Also, the screws assumed a 3/4" top and back of chest.

These may work well if you are building a chest or bin of very small size. With a 22" x 48" lid they would not snap closed nor stay open. Also, the hardware holes assume you are only going to use the provided screws. If you want a bolt-through mount, they will hit the mechanism on the inside. .
