Including instructions would be quite handy for the first time installer. Other than that these work as intended. One wish would be to have the hardware come in other finishes besides polished brass.

I used these hinges to replace identical ones that had been installed over 25 years ago as "original equipment" in units in the John Hancock building in Chicago. They fit and worked perfectly and should last a good long time with reasonable use. You are to be congratulated for stocking this brand that I could not locate in local area hardware stores.

The unit is very small and I suspect will only work on doors of a given size or weight. I have installed only one of the two doors. Your hinge is replacing hinges which have been in place for about thirteen years and are located where they get a lot of action. The installed door is lethargic in response to movement and is inconsistent in where it stops. My suspicion is the unit is too small for my door - a louvered door 15" X 78".

Editor's note: Yes, this would be a larger door than these are desinged to carry. These are designed for half the height you have- what might be commonly known as saloon doors.

These hinges work fine, but be aware that they do not come with any instructions. You need to figure out on your own how to space the hinges for the doors to work correctly. Anyone who has never installed cafe door hinges before will probably be quite frustrated.

Hinge worked like I needed it to. I bought two because description lead me to think it included one side only. I have a spare pair so will have to come up with another project for them.

The hinges do not center the doors, when closed, in as positive a manner as the old ones [which I lost in a move] did.
Instructions would be nice to get the mounting dimensions right the first time. Through trial and error, I did get the corners to clear during their opening and closing movements.
