 I purchased the DeWalt DWP611PK small router kit right after they first came out.  I really like it for lighter routing jobs. It's variable speed adjustment covers a fairly wide RPM range, and that is useful when you want to reduce burning on some woods. Having a plunge base is also useful at times. The LED lights are a good feature too. Overall this little router will handle a lot of jobs that would be harder to do with a heaver large router. It's light weight makes it a lot easier to handle, and it has the same features that a larger router has. It is limited to the use with 1/4" bits. In my experience this has been is a nice product, and I would recommend it.
