Blade change out on this is as easy to do as the big Dewalt which costs $100 more than this. Gives a very fine cut and the height adjustment is very easy to work with. The posi-stop knob is very useful also. One thing to note is if you've never used a planer they produce a small french fry shaped shaving. With that in mind the dust collection hood for this is not the greatest. You'll need to cut away the fins inside the chute if you attach it. Otherwise it'll plug up and you'll wonder why your not cutting anything. This wasn't an issue for me though. Love the planer.

Very easy to use right out of the box. Produces a very fine finish. Has a great cutter head lock that virually eliminates snipe. I found this out the first time I used it by not setting the lock causing some snipe. Once I adjusted the cutter head height, set the lock it produces a very fine finish. I'm impressed.
