The face shield is not made from a good quality plastic and as a result is cloudy and distorts the vision. While it will perform the task of protection, when doing detail work with the lathe, I find myself lifting the face shield.

I purchased two of these. Used them very little and hung them in my shop. In about a year the plastic head band was cracked/broken on both making them useless. I tried to glue but the plastic will not take to epoxy. I would not purchase these again because of this issue.

Similar story to Gary's, except it didn't take a year for each of these to break. I may have used each one several times at most.

Two face shields purchased, minimal use and stored by hanging in basement workshop. Both have broken headbands.

I bought one of these in-store, as it was the only selection available that fit my budget and still protect my face. While it does do that, the design is poor, and often the screws holding the shield to the headband come loose, or the range of the shield allows dust to enter from all sides.

Very disappointed in the quality of the face shield. It will probably work and you get what you pay for. Save your money and buy something better.
"Rockler is my only source for fine tools and woodworking supplies. Every item I have purchased from them has been better than I anyone would expect from other suppliers. Thanks to them I have begun the wonderful and rewarding journey into turning, from my lathe to all my turning tools and gadgets, I am a fan. Rockler has enhanced my knowledge and expanded my enthusiasm. They are customer oriented. " -
