After forty years in cabinet making here is San Diego, I think I am in love once again. Sorry wife. I know I love you with all my heart but this little tool is the best thing to come along for all types of work and it make life just a little bit "un-frustrating" It is the best bit holder of any other kind for any price. I no longer get frustrated at dropping screws and having to go after them. The magnetic pull is absolutely true to the advertising. Love it lots!

Have been doing some deck work. Using long screws the VERY STRONG magnet kept the screw in a horizontal position without falling. I have a few other similar, but none had the strength to hold long screws horizontal. I may add the flexible version in the not too distant future.

This is the best bit holder that I have ever used. I wish I could thank Michael from San Diego personally. Without his review, I don't know If I would have bought it. For years, I have been using a bit holder that has a small ball bearing and a sleeve that slides to hold the bit in place. After awhile, the ball bearing would get worn and it wouldn't hold the bit anymore. Off to the store to buy another. The magnet on my old holder was not that great and the screw would fall off. With this holder, I shook my drill as hard as I could and the screw was still there....awesome!!! Another problem that I have had with other bit holders is that the bit would stay with the screw. SO FAR SO GOOD With this holder. The description on this bit holder did not explain the sleeve very well. The sleeve on the holder slides forward just far enough to touch the screw. It looks similarly to a drywall dimplier. If you want to change bits, you simply slide the sleeve back to expose the bit for changing. One of my friends and I worked together for years using different types of bit holders, trying to find the perfect one. I can't wait to send him one of these. The search is finally over!!
"Every time I have been in a Rockler store around the country I have left feeling that I received wonderful service and most always had exactly what I needed in stock at a fair to great price. the only complaint, if it can be called that, is that I have to drive over 45 minutes to reach the nearest Rockler store. My wife probably appreciates that distance, as I am certain that if one was as close as I wished it to be, we would have very little left in our checkbook!" -
