A complete kit to maximize the value of your FS guide rails when used with your Festool plunge saw or router. Quickly set angles for both mitered and compound cuts using the Angle Unit. Make accurate repeat cuts using the Limit Stop. Work more efficiently by attaching the included Deflector to the end of your rail to prevent your suction hose and cords from getting snagged. Connect rails for limitless cutting with the included Connectors. Use the two included Screw Clamps to for more secure, reliable cutting. Also includes replacment Splinterguard for splinterfree cuts.

If you dread cutting up sheet products, like most woodworkers, you owe it to yourself to look at Festool's circular saw and guide rail system. Everything that Festool makes seems to address everything that is problematical in woodworking. They are the kind of tools that I would invent if I were truly gifted. If you own a Festool circular saw then you most certainly own, at least, one of their guide rails. Having used that saw and guide rail you would, most certainly, want to have an occasional guide rail that could span an eight foot sheet of material just as I did. I then went to my dealer to get a second 55" guide rail and the necessary rods that connect the two rails. I also realized that being able to clamp a guide rail to a piece of material is, occasionally, necessary even though these rails seem to "stick" to most products. I then thought I might purchase clamps that fit into and under the rails so that they cannot be seen nor interfere with the cutting process. My dealer then showed me a kit that has the connecting rods for the two rails and the clamps as well as an ingenious device for cutting angles with my guide rails. This angle gude, alone, made the cost of this entire kit worth what I paid for it! I can take a reading with the angle guide, bring that angle right to my work bench, attach the angle guide to my guide rail in seconds and cut the exact angle across and entire sheet of "anything" with my circular saw mounted on the guide rail. The angle comes out perfectly every time. As mentioned, if you own a Festool circular saw and guide rail then you should run, not walk, to your dealer and purchase this kit as it has made my job fun, extremely accurate and done in a fraction of the time it would take without it. The kit is such a natural progression of the Festool line that you owe it to yourself to, at least, take a look at what it can do for you. By the way, if you own a Festool router or "jigsaw" the guide rails and this guide rail accessory kit are every bit as useful. Eventually my entire shop will be as "Festooled" as possible....these are truly wonderful tools.
