With the largest sanding pad in the Festool line, the RS 2 makes quick, efficient work of broad, flat surfaces. It’s loaded with conveniences that set it apart from similar sanders. It accepts two kinds of sandpaper: hook-and-loop for speed and convenience and traditional clamp-on half-sheets for economy. Half-sheet paper changes are completely painless; the lever-actuated spring clamps lock open so you don’t have to fumble with two things at once. You can even use the optional Hole Punch (70828) to form all 10 dust collection holes with a single push! Two comfortable handles offer more control and less fatigue, while variable speed allows you to match the sander to the material. As always, the dust collection is fully integrated for near-total dust extraction.
