Great little set with a valuable case to keep from losing any parts. For those having trouble with a tight fit on their saw arbor, a very small amount of filing will take off the roughness of the press punch holes. I'm sure in order to get the price right, the manufacturer skipped fine finish on these arbor holes. Laser cuts would at least double the price. Great Value for the money. Thanks!!

For the great price, this is a great set. Sharp edges and flat bottom. No problem with arbor. Like others have said"No brainer".

This is a no brainer, This set is fantastic at this price and with SUPER FAST FREE Shipping. It gave me a great range in width and flat bottom cuts. The arbor hole fit my saw perfectly. I'm very happy with this purchase and Rockler. Thank you!

For the price, you can't beat this set. The solid round chippers with 6 teeth are excellent and well balanced compared to the 2 tooth design on other cheap sets. This cut clean and sharp and the exact width I wanted. I did have one chipped carbide tooth, but 1 out of 120 isn't bad. I would recommend this set.

Had a lot of play on my arbor really loose a full 32nd of play, the cut was all over the place. I'm sure its not a problem with all of them. And its not my saw all my other blades fit snug. Sending it back. Other than that the quality is OK its not a top of the line blade. For $80 that's whats you get.

One of the chippers is undersized and I get a dado cut with a big ridge in the bottom which requires a lot of work with a chisel to make it usable, my old Sears wobble dado blade works better.

I thought the price was good. However, my cuts are not clean in the bottom. The outside cutters are slightly larger in diameter then the chippers. Since I was cutting 1/2" rabbits, there is a slight gap at the edge. A little disappointing.

Either the blades and chippers are not of consistent diameter, or the arbor holes are oversized, so there are ridges and valleys across the bottom of the cut. I know you get what you pay for, but I paid less for my Oshlun with better results.

I was hoping to pickup one of the Oshlun 8" dados, but my local Rockler didn't have one in stock. I originally was looking at both the Freud and the Forrest - but after looking at this set, and Rockler's satisfaction, I opted to take a chance.
I needed a 7/8" width, and using the set, I was able to space out 7/8" clean. The depth of the dado was even, clean and sharp. there were no discernible lines in the bottom of the cut - except where there wasn't enough of an overlap the kit claims 13/16" and I was after 7/8".
The Oshlun and Avenger both suffer from the same problem: The diameter of the arbor is just a tiny bit too small. Once I decided this was a "keeper", I took a small grinder and ever so slightly enlarged the hole so that the blades fit tight, but slid onto the arbor cleanly.
The box the kit comes in is a nice touch, but there isn't any place for the shims so I'll probably end up with a ziplock baggie inside the box.
I did take a few minutes and compare the Forrest, Freud and Avenger. The Avenger has 36 Teeth on the outer blades and the Freud had 24.
I'd recommend the Avenger again.
