Perfect for use on wood, paint, metal, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall. Use them wet or dry, they're ideal for using on turnings, moldings, and other non-flat surfaces because they conform to any shape. Plus, they're washable so you can use them over and over. Each sponge measures 1/2'' thick x 4'' W x 5'' L. These are factory seconds though the product performs as new some may be cut slightly over or under exact specifications.

Although there was nothing wrong with the product, each sponge is unlabeled. You get a bag with 24 random sponges, but I can't tell by feel the difference between the finer grits. The sponge material was also much softer than I expected, not the firm foam that is more typical.

As another comment stated, there is no markings on the pads to tell the difference with grits. I laid them out on the workbench and graded them myself. Then with a felt tip pen, I marked each with the grits. For me, they are well worth the sale price. These are great for curves or flat surfaces. I use them so much I bought a second set. Why only 4 stars? I only use five stars if the product is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Five stars are issued too often!
