Here's something to consider when selecting face frame hinges... These hinges are not for use on Eurostyle Cabinets, they are for use on your face frame cabinets only. Overlay Applications Use an overlay hinge if the door overlays the face frame completely, with a rabbet. It can be predetermined or variable. If it is variable, you'll be able to mount it anywhere on the widthe of the face frame and determine how much of the frame will be visible. Inset Applications Use an inset hinge if the door is completely flush with the face frame.

Three-way independent adjustment means uniform cabinetry! Blum "European-style" hinges are easily adjustable for foolproof installation! Simply turn a screw or cam to make sideway and height adjustments for perfect cabinet door alignment. Some hinges also offer a depth adjustment, making installation easy even where minor cabinet irregularities exist! Use the chart to determine how many hinges you'll need for the height and weight of your door. A door that is 43'' high and weighs 14 lbs. requires three hinges. If your door is only 24'' high but weighs 14 lbs., go with three hinges for maximum support and stability. Use on 5/8'' - 3/4'' doors unless otherwise noted.

I found these hinges to be easy to install and perform as stated. With the "soft-close" function turned on for both hinges I found the door to close almost too slow. No matter how hard you try to slam the door closed, the hinges take control of the motion and close the door, well, softly. I turned the function off on one of the hinges on each door and the motion was perfect. I liked the fact that Rockler included everything you need including screws and instructions. With the jigs from Rockler, sold separately, installation was easy. I highly recommend these hinges. I can't imagine not using this type of hinge again in the future! Thanks Rockler!

The design puts leverage against the mounting plate that causes the screws to fail. Did 3 doors and all 6 have pulled loose. It is just a bad design. Even when 1st installed you can see when you open and close the door the cabinet side bracket moves. It is simply the leverage from the 2" hinge itself applying side pressure against the mounting bracket. Bad design but now how do you possibly fix with installed done cabinets?  I have to build new doors and go overlay!

I am a builder and had these installed on my custom cabinets in my personal home. I have had nothing but problems with them. The face plate that mounts to the back of the face frame is too small and there is to much torque from the door closing and opening. Over time 2 years I have had to reinstall almost every hinge because they have ripped the screws out of the back of the face frame. This is a serious pain in the butt to fix, and I have had to end up filling the old hole with glue and wood to reinstall the screw so it bites again. They are also a nightmare to install where you have pullout hardware. If you don't install them before you do your pull out build out and install the hardware then good luck. There isn't enough room between the pull outs and the end of the hinge and its a nightmare to get screws in. I would never use these hinges again, they will cost you nothing but time and money and if you are a builder you will be going back over and over again to fix them. Currently I have about 10 more hinges to fix and I am dreading it.
