These are clearly light weight anti-fatigue mats. If they are used with this in mind, they are excellent. I have large expensive mats where I stand at my saw, work bench, drill press, etc. But I use these in the areas where I may have to stand for several minutes at a time, such as my miter saw station, my mortising machine, etc. In my car work shop they are great to move around where I need them, such as stacking two on top of each other where I have to kneel down for several minutes or in the house for the same purpose. The only problem I have had with them is that they are so light that they are easily blown around.

While they are not as dark as the photo indicated - they do what they are designed to do - I have a very cold garage and these have been a godsend - also saved a few blades falling on them!!

No problems so far. The mat tiles interlocked without any problems and no blemishes were noticed on either side of all tiles. It's thickness is thinner than the 24x48" mat #58968, so my subjective "anti-fatigue" factor rating for the interlocking mat is less than for the one-piece one. When I need a mat because I will be standing in one place for a long time, e.g., at a lathe, I would opt for the thicker, one-piece one. If my work is not on one machine as intensively, e.g., at the drill press, then I found the less expensive, interlocking mat to be satisfactory. BTW, I purchased the one-piece mat when it came on sale.

For my use these worked great, I caught these when they were on sale and bought three sets. I lay the mats on the concrete floor in my shop for my 3 toddler grandkids when they're sitting around playing. When they're done, I pick them up, stack-em and put them up.

These are relatively thin! however, they are effective unless you are standing for hours at a time. I have tried to stack them two ply as another reviewer suggested, helps a lot. One Caution: after removing the plastic wrapping, they have a supremely strong aroma. I had to put them in the garage for a few days to "air" out.

I bought five packages of this product on sale thinking it was a great deal. The quality is so poor I may have to toss it!

Not black like shown, but a kind of dirty grey color. Some of mine had major bubbles in the foam, causing complete or almost complete holes through the mat tiles. Fortunately, I plan to lay plywood of top, but otherwise I would have returned them.
