Getting decent wood gear in Australia is a very tough ask, so when I found these new tires on my favourite site :}. I was very pleased indeed.

Fitting was via hot water, 2 clamps and a flat screwdriver. They were pretty tight and required some vigour to get on, but once over the rim they settled in beautifully. Just ran my fingers around the edges to pop them in place and all was solved.

Very happy with this purchase.

I've had these on my bandsaw for a couple of years. They are well worth the price. The other day my blade got overheated and messed up the tires. No matter what I did my new blade would make the tires slip off because the heat had damaged them. Solution? I glued them on with contact cement, works like a charm!

Took the wheels off my 14" Jet BS, cleaned them off, followed the directions by heating some hot water on the stove to not quite boiling and soaked the tires for 15 minutes, I did one tire at a time.Used 3 spring clamps as I stretched the tire on the wheel. Put the wheels back on my BS and waited 6 hrs. or so for the tires to dry, put my blade on and all was fine. Very simple to do!

I recently purchased and am restoring a very well used Delta 14" band saw. The tires were junk and I purchased the urethane tires after reading most of the reviews. I did have to heat the tires to install, but with a few clamps and a little elbow grease, they went on without much difficulty. So far I am very satisfied with the service and the product.

This is first time I have tried to replace tires on my 14" Delta band saw. Instructions said remove wheels-top no problem, however bottom was a different story. I decided not to remove it. Top wheel clamped to work bench and new tire clamped at seam, I stretched by hand and it dropped in place as I worked around the wheel. Bottom same procedure except I used a series of wedges to help slide tire over edge of wheel. Heating could have helped, which I did not do. Runs great.

These urethane band saw tires were easy to install although I do recommend following their suggestion of soaking them in hot water for 15 minutes first. I priced these and Rockler had by far the best price. The saw runs great.

Recieve my new bandsaw tires last week. Soaked em for fifteen minutes at 140 degrees and but em on. Man what a difference. They're kind of pretty too.

Excellent replacement for my Delta 14". After installation, saw ran quieter and more smooth. Rockler was best in value.

Purchased the urethane bandsaw tires for my Delta 14" bandsaw. So far has been a good product and was the best price I found on-line. I was able to install the tires by myself without removing the wheels from the bandsaw but whacked my knuckles a few times. Definitely warming the tires as instructed makes the installation easier. A clamp is a must if you don't have an extra pair of hands.

I am ecstatic over the band saw tires I recently purchased. They are of very high quality but the glaring difference is the value.I am not one to buy without finding the best value, so when I found your tires at the same price for two as I had found for one it was a no brainer.

Not only did Rockler have a great price on these tires, but they arrived quickly and went on easily. Like some of the others here, I used spring clamps to keep the tire in place as I eased it onto the wheels of my newly acquired, but really old import bandsaw. The blades track smoothly, and I'm very happy with the product.

I removed the wheels from the machine and then followed the procedures on the package and had no difficulty installing the tires. They run true and I expect to have good service from them.

Installed these on my 23 year old Grizzly G1019. I warmed them in water per instructions then started the band on part of the wheel securing with quick clamps. I then clamped that part of the wheel in the side vise on my workbench and used a small round screwdriver shank to work the rest of the band around the wheel. The bands cooled and were very tight afterwords. The Urethane seems to grip the blade very well. I am completely satisfied at this point. Time will tell about wear.

Product fit perfectly on my Rigid 14" Bandsaw. I was worried because the steel wheels measured 13 1/2", but when the "tires" arrived they still needed to be heated before they would go on. Follwed the directions for heating and the Tires slipped on, no problems, even with the wheels remaining on the machine. Allowed the tires to "cool" as directed. This is important , so don't skip that step. After the cool down - the blade tracked smoothly without vibration ! I can stand a Nickel "On-end" on my bandsaw Table while the 3/4 HP motor runs a 3/8" blade and the nickel remains standing! It is very obvious these tires will last a lot longer than my originals...you can feel the toughness. Very glad a breakage forced me into buying new tires and very glad Rockler.com was there to pick the pieces.

These are a great buy - so much better than rubber tires. I had to use a chisel to smotth the wheels prior to installion and use sand paper to ensure all the glue was gone. I tried to heating method on hot water, but they cooled to fast getting them to the garage, so we used clamps and streched them into place with a rounded rod (no sharp edges), then used a soft face hammer to tap them down flat in the wheel as I rotated it. When finished - they looked great and I hope will last a long time. The blade tracks nicely and doesnt dent into the tire like with rubber. Worth changing over - would never recommend rubber tires! Buy these - worth the money!

I recently bought a used JET 14" Bandsaw and found out why the price was so good - it had a broken Tension Sliding Bracket and broken Wheel Shaft Hinge which made it impossible to tension and track. Bought the parts and repaired it. Then I found that I could not get the blades and rubber tires to stay on the wheels. So once again I did some research and found that it was my tires - I had tired tires! After reading the reviews I purchased these tires and they, once installed, made it simple to tension and track the blade. It was like magic - the blades tensioned and tracked perfectly, the tires stay on and I'm cutting wood! Great product! Oh, by the way, I highly suggest you use the hot water and clamps suggestion - makes it easy to get the tires on.

I replaced the original tires on my Jet 14" bandsaw. These tires were a perfect fit. No trimming. All I did was leave them in the garage for a couple of days (it's been in the 90's) and then two men put the new tires on by hand. Followed with a round metal bar to even the tension around the wheel, which was recommended by the instructions. They work great!

Bought theses to replace defective factory tires on my ridgid bandsaw. After hearing plenty of stories about difficulties installing I was pleased to find I was able to install them without much trouble at all. I didnt have to remove the wheels or use hot water like suggested, I simply used some spring clamps to hold the tires on as I stretched them over the wheels with a wooden dowel. All total maybe 15 minutes to install. 10 of those minutes was spent removing and replacing all the guards and belts and blade from the saw

After using higher-priced rubber tires, the urethane sounded like a good idea; they were! The fit is excellent, with uniform dimensions, and very tight when installed, so no glue needed. Per the instructions, heating to 140F is necessary, and with a wood pad and vise grips to help hold, they scooched into place just fine.

I recently picked up an old Delta woodworking/metalworking saw with original tires. The glue and rubber had dried out and the blade would kick the tires right off the wheels. These urethane tires were at the best price I could find anywhere. They fit well but are also quite snug, so heating them up first as suggested helped a lot with the installation, as well as having a second set of hands from my wife. The blade now tracks beautifully, plus the bright orange color makes blade inspection and tracking adjustments less of a chore. I would definitely recommend these as replacement tires.

So far so good with my 3'8" blade. Once a warmed the tires up in hot water they went on smoothly. Follow the directions and remove the band saw wheels from the machine and the tires go on wonderfully. Best price I could find.

I recently purchased a reconditioned 14" Ridgid Band Saw. The tires were coming off the bottom wheel. I browsed the web for a suitable tire I could install myself. The urethane tires were recommended for 14" Delta saws but I was told they should fit my Ridgid as well. They got here fast and I had them both put on in 10 minutes. They track the blade perfectly and I have more power to cut hardwoods. I recommend these to anyone that wants to improve the performance of their bandsaw. You will learn there is a difference in tires for your saw like there is a difference in the kind of tires you put on your car. Don’t trust your reputation to just an “OK” tire. These are sure-footed and have the grip to keep you on track.

Got these for my JET 14" BS because the rubber ones that came with it were worn out. Installed both without taking the wheels off by clamping the wheels to prevent them from turning, heating the tires to about 170 degrees in a pan of water for 15 minutes each, and stretching them on. They are a great improvement for my BS and installation took about 5 minutes each after heating. Very happy with installation and performance. Highly recommend.

Heat the tires in hot water for 15 minutes and they stretch easily over the wheels. The blade tracks really well on these tires. Excellent value.

One of the tires flew off of my old Rockwell bandsaw so I bought these. While waiting for them to come, I searched on the internet regarding bandsaw tire replacement and found all kinds of junk about how to install and then reseat and trim and crown...blah, blah, blah. I started to wonder what kind of mess I was getting into. I did clean the wheels. Then I just stretched them over the wheels. It worked fine. I did nothing else to them. They fit the wheels fine, the blade runs true. What else could you want? You don't need to do any of that other.

I soaked them in hot water from my coffee maker. They went on easily with the help of my wife. So far so good. I like the orange color, it helps to track the blade better and you just can't beat the price.

Tires were replacements for those on my 14 inch 1950's Milwaukee Delta. The installation could not have been easier. I ran a cycle of water through my Bunn drip coffeemaker into the caraf, placed a tire in to soak for about five minutes, put the tire over the upper wheel, used a spring clamp to lock the wheel in position and quickly stretched the tire over the wheel without to much effort or problems. I followed the same routine with the bottom wheel although it was a little more difficult to clamp in place. I think the key was using hotter water than recommended. The Bunn puts out water at 190 degrees and was probably at least 175 when I soaked the tire. The seams were sanded well and presented no problems at all.

These band saw tires seem to be working fine. It did take a bit of work to get them on the wheels, but the width was right on the money, and no modifications for fit were required.
