Just turned my first kit.... I especially like this kit because I don't have to create a tenon and install the trim ring. I turned an acrylic handle using your molten metal 41490 blank and WOW...it came out GREAT.I've already purchased the blue/white handle and am anxious to make another one. I enlarged the hole slightly to allow for a little more epoxy. Where the blank meets the paddle is a nice transition. It looks to have the necessary strength to hold up under the rock hard ice cream it will do battle with.
