Pizza Cutter Blade Kit (34913, sold separately). They also make great tool handles and turning stock for other projects wider than a pen blank. Approximately 1-1/2'' x 1-1/2'' x 6''.
Technical Details:
- Blank measures approximately 1-1/2'' x 1-1/2'' x 6''L.
- Turns very quickly; take care turning with light pressure.
- Blanks can be finished after turning by sanding to a fine grit and then polishing on a buffing wheel with Corian® polish, buffing compound or Hut finishing blocks.
- Each blank is sold individually.

Beautiful color and patterns and if I don't run out of glue will make a wonderful handle. As noted it takes a light touch to turn as the acrylic is a much more brittle formulation. After gently roughing it to a cylinder use your least agressive sharpest toolsscrapers and it shapes easily. The issue is the tons of bubbles trapped in the acrylic. I was spending as much time filling in the bubbles with CA as I was turning it to its final shape. And just when I thought I was ready to start sanding it came apart on the lathe. Not because of a tool catch but because there was a line of bubbles that cut right across where I had drilled for the Bottle Opener insert. I have epoxied the chunks back together but it will have to have more oh so careful turning before it is a handle. Disapointing because it is so gorgeous. As an FYI I also turned the "Inferno" colored blank. It had a few bubbles but nothing like the Ocean Mist which makes me think it may just be a bad batch. Your milage may vary.
