I bought this set on impulse a while back and I've used it a few times now. The bits are sturdy (I've used the smallest one at strange angles with a heavy drill and it never showed signs of bending or breaking), sharp, and the tolerances of the counterbores and plug cutters are tight. My only complaint is the countersink/bore collars can slip really easily unless you crank them down, and the set screws can damage the cutting edges of the bits easily unless you're very careful with placement. This is a pretty big detriment when you're trying to not drill through a thin piece. One improvement I made to the box was drilling a forstner hole at the bottom of the allen wrench holder, otherwise it's near impossible to remove it from the case without spilling everything else out. Despite the flaws, I do get nice countersink/bored tapered screw joints with this set. The plugs it cuts fit perfectly into the bores.

Caution these drill bits are tapered! For use with "old school" wood screws.

I give this product one star only because the box it comes in is nice. You can not keep the bits tight. When you try to tighten the set screws they strip. I should have returned them but it might be to late.
