I wasn't sure how good this product would work. but when I cut shelves from 2 sheets of 3/4 plywood, I liked the speed and repeatably making repetitive cuts. This tool now hangs on the wall of my shop.

Kreg comes through big time with this saw guide. Over the years I've spent too much money and endured a lot of frustration trying to make straight cuts in plywood and I've never been happy. This guide has done the trick. My Dewalt circular saw fits on it perfectly and I've consistently made straight cuts in 4'x8' plywood. And what makes it even better is this solution is probably one of the least expensive solutions I've tried. If I had to make one suggestion I would be to have a slightly longer fence to maintain the straight cut when nearing the end of the cut. But a little extra attention and patience and this isn't much of a problem. I highly recommend this.

I found this easy to use and set-up the instructions were clear. It would be nice to have a quick disconnect for it though. When I used it I was putting it on and off to work with other cuts so had to take the time to reconnect it and reset the pointer on it.

The Rip-Cit guide worked great. So much easier than trying to struggle with a table saw. It took me few tries to get it attached to the saw. You have to check the set screws often as they might loosen up. Lesson learned was buy a good carbide tipped 60 tooth blade or better. I used a cheaper blade with something like 120 teeth that were the same thickness as the blade and it started to bind. Looked like I was using a jig saw. Very pleased.

This handy device makes short work of cutting plywood in strips of less than two feet with high accuracy as long as you have a perfectly straight edge for the traveling fence. It's not perfect and some improvements on the design would make it much better. For instance, the fence needs to be a couple of inches longer so that the blade,when exiting the cut,goes straight. Also, the holddown for the circular saw base could also be improved as it requires some finesse to secure it properly. A quick attachment and release feature would be most welcome. With a little practice you can get a lot of use from this saw guide.
