I love the idea and the templates are very good. The self-centering bit is the weak part of the package. The bit recedes up the holder which causes the depth of the hole to not be deep enough. It is frustrating having to reset the bit depth.

Template itself is great, but the self-centering bit is poor quality. In addition to having to reset the depth constantly, mine actually disintegrated before I was even done with the first board. The rim holding the sliding sleeve onto the fixed bit ground right off and the sleeve went flying. Rockler is replacing it, but still - not even one board done and it's already broken. Will keep the template and look for a quality self-centering bit on the next project.

The templates themselves are very good, but the spring loaded drill bit is poor. You will be very frustrated when you must re-set the bit in the holder after just a few holes are drilled. The bit recedes up into the holder causing the dept of the following holes to be not as deep as needed. The allen wrench holding screw at it's max will not hold the bit under pressure of drilling.
