These clamps function well, are lightweight, and the ease of use is a big plus. They don't clamp very hard, though, so that limits their usefulness. I use them for small pieces or to keep larger pieces aligned while I get the larger clamps lined up for stronger clamping. In contrast, Irwin's SL300 clamps are a lot stronger, but they're also more bulky and of course, more expensive.

I picked up a pair of these recently as I begin to upgrade my low quality, cheap clamps to something better and I am struggling to comprehend how I got by with the cheap clamps for so long. These tighten quickly and stay where they are supposed to, I can easily align and clamp with one hand, the pressure is fantastic for such a small clamp, and the release is quick and easily engaged. To sum up I will give them what, in my opinion, is about the best compliment a product can be given: the do exactly what they say they will do and they do it very well.

Just counted. Have 54, yes, fifty four, of these 6 inch clamps in my shop. They work great for all types of situations. Gluing, clamping things to the bench to sand, drill, plane, assemble, holding all kinds of things when I need another hand. Last evening I was repairing a bench when my wife entered the shop. She was amazed to count that I had 21 clamps on one repair, most were this 6 inch Quick-Grip. I love them, you will too.
