This is a very good setup, but there are a few minor issues and one major issue. First the good - the top is totally solid, and is as flat as I can tell without using feeler gagues. The hardware is all straight and solid. The fence is nice and tall, with T-tracks facing forwards and back. It also comes with metal rods to shim out one side either 1/32" or 1/16" to use it as a jointer, which was not indicated on the website. The plate is also sturdy and as flat as I can tell with just a straightedge, and my router screwed onto it with no issues. There are a few minor issues I can see so far. First off the "B-group" router plate doesn't have a hole for the Craftsman above-the-table adjustment. I can just drill another hole for that. The sub-fences stand proud of the top T-track, which causes the included feather boards not to attach quite correctly. I'll just stack up some washers to fix that. The hole spacing on the fence is apparently different than their other fences, so their jointer shims don't fit correctly. I'll either cut another slot or return them. If I'd known it came with the built-in offsets I wouldn't have even ordered them. However, the rods for the jointer set-up are rectangular, not square. This allows for the possibility of inserting them incorrectly, resulting in taking off more material than intended, or, god forbid, inserting one properly and one incorrectly, resulting in a slanted outfeed fence! I think that this would be fairly obvious though. Now, for the one major issue I have...The inserts that the router plate screws into. These are press-fit brass inserts. Pressed into what is basically just plastic. And they're oriented so that screwing the plate down pulls them out. They don't do anything as-is. Because there's no friction between the metal and the plastic I can easily pull them out with my fingers. I would invert them, but they're too long. They either need to be glued in {but what is going to stick to this stuff?} or threaded on the backside for a nut to lock them down. Or just replace them with T-nuts. With all that said I am still surprised to give this thing a 4/5 rating, but it really does seem like a quality product. It just needs a few bugs shaken out of it.
