These high-quality solid brass jewelry box hinges stop at just over 90°, eliminating the need for a lid support or chain. Mortising is easy with a 35mm forstner bit - just clamp the lid and box together and drill to the appropriate depth. Hinges can also be surface-mounted. Includes screws.

Technical Details:
  • Hinges measure approximately 35mm in diameter (1-3/8") so they work with a standard 35mm hinge cup drilling bit.
  • Hinges can be mortised in or surface mounted.
  • Integral stop holds lid open at just over 90°.
  • Solid brass construction with a polished brass finish.
  • Periodic lubrication with light household oil is recommended for smooth movement of leaves and extended hinge life.
