Curly Koa Pen Blank

Native to the Hawaiian islands, curly koa showcases wavy, iridescent grain that evokes images of the Pacific surf. The color ranges from creamy beige to reddish brown, and is quite lustrous. Koa turns very easily, being very similar to black walnut in machining properties, and can be polished to a gleaming finish. Each blank measures approximately 5" long x 3/4" square.
