At 4" in diameter, and 2" thick, these heavy-duty casters are built to last. And
since all 4 casters swivel, it's easy to maneuver your shop carts and mobile
workstations directly sideways, forward and backward - an essential feature in
smaller shops. Two of the casters feature a brake to keep things under control

These are great casters with one flaw. The good news: I've mounted them on a new-construction, heavy workbench (the top is 34"x81"x1 1/2" solid core particle board with birch veneer). The bench rolls and maneuvers easily, and the casters appear to be sturdy enough to last. The bad news: The locking casters don't lock. Once the locks are engaged, a gentle push will undo them, every time. Because of the weight of the bench, I'll live with it.
