The Nobex Proman Miter Saw's superior accuracy gives it a reputation of being the only miter saw exact enough for qualified picture framing. Nobex Proman's stable precision molded table along with low friction blade guides increases the accuracy of every cut.

Nobex Proman features pre-set lock stops for important angles in both directions making the angle setting quick and easy. The multi directional fast action clamp can be used in two positions holding the wood securely in place while cutting. For longer pieces of wood, the Proman features a telescopic length stop. The Nobex Proman Miter Saw comes with a 24TPI blade making it ideal for very fine cuts right out of the box.

I've been using one of these for about 12 years now. Whenever I want a clean, fast, high-precision cut, it is the tool I turn to.

This saw is quick and accurate. Good quality construction. I recommend it for small and large framing jobs.

Overall a good saw but ONLY if you're using it to cut common angles. I had a project recently that required cutting an 8 degree angle and even though the angle guide on the base of this saw is marked in 1 degree increments there is no way to lock it in place to make such a cut. You can only use the preset angles (90, 45, etc.) The saw isn't exactly cheap to begin with and having to spend an extra $ to be able to cut at any desired angle is a bit much.

Its a fine framing saw. Makes good accurate miter cuts. It's really lightweight so you have to clamp it to a table or else it shudders during use. The clamp that came with the saw is useless. I used it for a while and it would slip in the middle of the cut causing uneven cuts and wasted moulding. I tossed it and now use an Irwin Handi Clamp. I didn't find the extra parts that came with the saw that make it a Pro kit of any use. But that's because the frames I am making are to long 32". The seem like they'd be useful for short frames. However, for the price, overall, I'm happy enough with the saw. I use it. It works. It's small and easy to store.
