Clean design and sturdy construction of Shaker and Mission styling make these tables a comfortable addition to any décor. This single project plan contains plans for a coffe table, end table and sofa table all featuring a generously sized storage shelf below for magazines, books, or knick-knacks.

The three dimensional assembly drawings include easy to read step-by-step instructions. Patterns are provided for any difficult or curved pieces. The plan uses classic Mission Style through mortises and the bottom stretchers are slightly curved.

Complete lumber requirements and cutting diagrams are included. No special hardware is required.

I built the coffee table as a Christmas present for my sister last year, and a pair of end tables for her this year. The plans are very well drawn and easy to follow. At my sister's request, I modified the end tables slightly so that the spindles are the sides rather the front/back. This is one project that will make you appreciate the joys of a hollow chisel mortise machine! Visitors to my shop while these were being built all commented that the construction is so much better than anything they have seen in stores.

This was my first attempt at making any type of furniture. The plans were easy to read and understand, I will make the coffee table later. I did alter two things, one the tenon are all half only and the bottom shelf has the lip all the way around. I did also purchase the heavy duty tenon jig from Rockler and used that for the construction as well. The mortises were all by hand and I can only improve with more attempts.

The plans do not match the picture. Picture shows tapered legs. Easily modified. Plans are easy to read and understand.

We are intermediate level woodworkers and still look at all plans very literally. We have chosen to build 2 end tables and the coffee table out of cherry. The plans are excellent and easy to follow, however, the cover sheet that came with the plans has a huge discrepency from the plans in the length dimension for the coffee table. Our advice would be to check and double check before one does any cutting. We are in the middle of our project and we will review again once we have completed our tables. We have made some modifications in lengths and widths, but all in all excited to get to the finished project.

Very nice plans. My 16-year old son is building a coffee table using these plans and really likes them. Designs include through mortises so that might a problem for some. We bought a dedicated mortising machine for this job. He is doing the top in mosaic tile. The plans are pretty adaptable.

I taught high school woodworking and drafting for 35 years. While the plans are not 3 view working drawings, they are extremely easy to follow. All information is readily available, and the directions are concise. The Bill of Materials list is quite accurate, and the cut-plan is very helpful in laying out the materials. I like the "D" size drawing format. It makes everything very easy to read and locate. I can recommend this plan to any woodworker from beginner to advanced.
