At last! A non-mortise, self-closing concealed hinge for face-frame cabinets! These hinges make it easier than ever to get great looking cabinets without having to pre-bore doors or create shims. Designed for use on materials from 5/8'' to 3/4'' thick, they allow overlays for 1/2'' to 5/8'' (depending on door thickness). Sold in pairs.

1) Submitted by Steve, from El Cerrito, CA on 8/28/2009 Customer Rating: I used the product to update the look of my existing overlay cabinets. The hinges are made well and each bag contains extra screws. Some cutting/routing of the inside cabinet sidewall may be required depending on the face frame. It would be nice if the hinges came with instructions to determine the backspace for the door mounting locations.

2) Submitted by N, from Lake City, MN on 7/1/2011 Customer Rating: When refinishing my kitchen cabinet, I wanted to hide the cabinet hinges and these hinges worked great. All you do is screw the one end of the hinge to the back of the face frame. Then line up the cabinet door and screw it into the cabinet door. They only open 90 degrees but I was willing to put up with that to have hidden hinges. They don't come with instructions. It's hard to open & close the hinge in your hand, but works good once installed.

But being a self-trained hobbyist woodworker I've never used hinges like this before and it took me a while to figure how they operated! Once I figured it out installation wasn't a problem.
