Stopmatic Support With Catch

The catch and stays are reversible for right- or left-handed installations.

Adjustable brake controls lowering of the drop front. Comes with magnetic catch to help keep door closed. Can be used in left or right hand installations by reversing position of foot and catch as needed. Nickel plated die-cast steel. Includes screws. Recommended for lids of 14'' minimum height to 18'' maximum height.

I wasn't sure if it would work because the front needs to open more than 90 degrees. It took a while to figure out the exact positioning (since the instructions are for a 90 degree opening), but the supports work beautifully. This is more substantial and secure than the typical hinged support for this type of desk.

Nicely built, well finished, and feel solid. The ability to adjust the drag gives them a feeling of quality. The screws that came with the stops were reasonable quality, but the quantities varied...some packages had too few screws, others had excess. I will definitely buy these again.
